About Us
Owner and Founder
Hi,
I'm Mia, The owner and founder of Wild Waggers. have been running Wild Waggers since 2019 that started as a personal hobby for my Assistance Dog Milah (photo of Milah) she was my Psychiatric and Medical alert dog, don't worry she is very much alive and thriving, she is now living the rest of her long life on a 40-acre horse ranch.
I never fully intended for my hobby to turn into a small business with so many supportive friends and clients, as it was only a way for me to make personal gear to display when Milah was "working" I was young with no money of my own but a very creative mind and some sewing skills. Milah has always and will continue to be my thriving inspiration for Wild Waggers, because of her I'm constantly looking for ways to improve and create new, creative and comfortable accessories for both canine and handler.
As I no longer require an Assistance Dog, I still feel very involved and supportive of the disabled community and I never want to stray far from this passion; As I grow, so will Wild Waggers. I am committed to making this business not only my inspiration but, yours as well.
Now I am introducing Training and programs into Wild Waggers to help new inexperienced handlers find their way as a handler and build an irreplaceable bond with their canines, For the current experienced handlers I offer a calm program for you and your Assistance dog with easy rules that adjust to your training needs, We are a balanced program with no set training style only support and guidance.

Our Trainer
Bella’s journey into dog training began in childhood, teaching tricks to her border collie and taking her on daily walks after school. But it wasn’t until her family brought home Benji—an incredibly dog-reactive border collie—that she truly delved into the world of canine behavior and training. The turning point came during her first training session with Benji, which unexpectedly began with a theoretical lesson. It was there she discovered that understanding dogs went far beyond obedience—it was about behavior, psychology, and strategy.
What followed was a challenging but transformative journey marked by trial and error, rethinking old habits, and seeking guidance from experienced trainers and mentors. Through the process of helping Benji, Bella discovered her passion: not just training dogs but truly understanding them. This personal experience has helped her deeply empathize with dog owners, especially those navigating behavioral challenges.
Bella has a natural curiosity and loves problem-solving—always reflecting on what worked, what didn’t, and why. When she’s not working with clients and their dogs, she is continually investing in her education. Her ongoing development includes formal studies, seminars, workshops, podcasts, and hands-on training across a wide range of settings. She’s collaborated with professionals from diverse areas of the industry and worked with dogs in environments such as shelters, herding trials, dog sports, and behavior assessments.
Her interests span all aspects of canine well-being, including veterinary medicine, fitness and conditioning, rehabilitation, physiotherapy, nutrition, and breed-specific activities. She has hands-on experience in sheep herding (both European and Australian styles), bite work, shelter behavior evaluations, and dog-to-dog suitability introductions.
Bella’s approach is rooted in empathy, scientific understanding, and a deep respect for the individuality of every dog—and every owner.
